Product Posting on Instagram

ON YOUR WEBSITE:

Step 1A.) Open a new tab (+ sign at the top of your screen) and go to your website (you may have a shortcut in your "My Business" folder).

Step 1B.) Find any product in your store that you'd like to do a product post about, click on it to open it up.

TIPS: Ideally your first image should be of the product with no other text

TIPS: Ideally the first image should be "in use" if possible, for example a picture of the product that provides context because some products aren't easily recognizable when on a white background alone

Step 1C.) Save the image by right clicking and select "Save Image As" and make sure it's saving to your "PRODUCTS" folder

HOW TO "Save Image As": If you do not have a mouse you can usually click the "ALT" button and click to achieve the "right click" option.

Alternatively, hovering your cursor over the image and clicking the "Shift" + "F10" buttons can do it as well.

OR you can do the double tap: move your cursor over the image, spread your fingers like a peace sign, then tap once on the image, and you should see the "save image as" button--click it.

TIPS: You may want to save more than one photo

Step 2A.) Change "Save as type" to "All Files" if needed

Step 2B.) Add .jpg to the end of the file name which you do NOT have to rename but you can if you want

Step 2C.) Click the "Save" button

Step 3A). Still on your website with that same product, select the entire product post's address (Click onto the line and CTRL + A to select all) this is the line that starts with your website name and ends with the name of the product; you need the entire thing

Step 3B.) Copy the entire product post's address (Click onto the highlighted text and right click or CTRL + C to copy)

Step 4.) Click the blue link below to open your Fulfillment Team Social Media Post Generator in your ChatGPT

Step 12B.) Paste (CTRL + V or right click and select "Paste") the text in the blank field

Step 12C.) BE SURE TO: Check for accuracy, that is, read what ChatGPT wrote to check to make sure that it didn't "hallucinate" things (like colors that don't exist or talks about scents on products that don't have scents). Also watch out for text that says things like “Ready! Here is your formatted post following every rule:”--we do NOT want to include things like that.

Step 13.) Click the blue "Share" button in the top right corner of your Instagram

Step 14.) Wait for "Your post has been shared" to finish and then click the refresh/reload button on the top left of your Instagram screen to see the post you just created.

Step 15.) Click on the image of the product post you just did and make sure that the text you included is there.

HOW OFTEN TO POST:

Post 1 to 3 Product Posts each day

Reason Why Daily Product Posting Matters

Daily product posts are one of the most powerful ways to grow your business online because they keep your brand consistently visible to your audience. Social media platforms prioritize active accounts, so the more consistently you post, the more often your content gets shown to potential customers. Product posts also build trust and familiarity by repeatedly showing your products in real-life use, helping shoppers understand what you sell and why they should buy from you. On top of that, every post creates another opportunity to drive traffic back to your website, which boosts store activity, improves your social proof, and increases your chances of making sales over time. Simply put: consistent product posting leads to more visibility, more clicks, and more revenue.
